Tokyo International Christian Church – Tsukuba Branch is currently seeking a Pastor / Preacher.
We sincerely welcome a pastor / preacher who has a heart to serve the Lord to join our team, build up the church together, and shepherd God’s flock.

Location: Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan
【Basic Requirements】

Graduated from an evangelical seminary

Fluent in Chinese for preaching, teaching, and pastoral ministry

Holds a firm biblical faith, demonstrates integrity in word and deed, and possesses good communication and teamwork skills
【Preferred Qualifications】

Ability to communicate and minister in Japanese or English is a plus

About Our Church!
Brief Introduction
Tokyo International Church Tsukuba Branch was founded in 1983.
It was also named Tsukuba International Christian Church in the past. It is an international-oriented local church, with people from international culture backgrounds.
Our church is a traditional Evangelical church. We believe in Holy Trinity God. We believe that the Bible was written with the inspiration from the Holy Spirit, thus it is the only true Word from God. Our Sunday service is mainly in Chinese, with Japanese and English interpretation. We have believers and seekers coming from Taiwan, China mainland, Philippines, Malaysia, other Southeast Asian area and the USA in our church.
We thank God's amazing grace for using this church in the past over 40 years. Many people became children of God. If you have a chance to come to Tsukuba, welcome to join us and receive the grace from Jesus Christ!

History
Feb. 21, 1981
Tokyo International Church came to Tsukuba invited by Kumada-san, started Bible study gathering.
Nov. 21, 1983
Celebration worship for the inauguration of the church building.
Pastor Oyamada was installed as the first pastor of the church.
Jul. 27, 1986
Pastor Oyamada completed his service which lasted for over 2 years and a half.
Sep. 06, 1988
Pastor Chen was installed as the second pastor of the church.
Sep. 29, 1991
Pastor Chen completed his service to the church which lasted for over 3 years.
Jul. 02, 1995
Pastor Tad Huang was installed as the third pastor of the church.
Jun. 30, 2019
Pastor Tad Huang completed his services to the church which lasted for over 24 years.
Jul. 01, 2019
Pastor Matthew Wong was installed as the fourth pastor of the church.
Jun. 23, 2025
Pastor Matthew Wong completed his service which lasted for over 6 years.
